From India. Currently working in an IT firm in
Bangalore
, the garden city, the capital of state Karnataka in southern India. Beautiful climate,
nice people, and a nice place to live. I was born and brought up in Bhubaneswar - the temple
city, capital of the state of
Orissa
in eastern India. Nice place too.
After finishing my school (in D.M.School) and College (B.J.B. College) studies in
Bhubaneswar, joined the
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
(in the state of West Bengal, Eastern India again) for engineering studies.
You could visit
IIT Foundation
too. I was in the LLR Hall, if you happen to know something about the campus. Graduated
with a Bachelors in Technology degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in 1995. Published a
paper
(Mathematical modelling of the mechanical alloying kinetics) too in
Acta Materialia
published by
Elsevier Science
Immediately after that I joined Infosys Technologies Limited, an IT firm.
I love to learn. I like such practical stuff. That's why probably mechanics was one of my
favorite subjects and I never could come to terms with pure maths. Physics has been my
favorite, electronics my fascination. Nature enthralls me; Discovery and National Geographic are
some of my favorite channels.
